Alison Krauss

Alison Krauss has been a country artist for more than 30 years. Her birthplace was in the city of Decatur on 23rd July 1971. LeAnn Kymes and she were two of the youngest recipients of a Grammy Award. Alison Maria Krauss, born 23rd July 1971, is an American singer and musician. Her career began in the music industry at the age of a young child, and when she was just 10 years young. When she was 14, she joined Rounder Records and in 1987 she released her first solo album. She was then invited to join Alison Krauss Union Station, her current band that she sings with. Her debut album in a group with this band was released in 1989.
