Kelly Clarkson was an American singer/songwriter that became the America's sweetheart when she won American Idol in the first series. The win brought Clarkson to the spotlight and secured her a contract with RCA Records 19 Recordings, as well as 'S Records. The singer has since released several Studio albums. 3 of these made it to the US Billboard 200 chart, however, others narrowly missed the mark. She's one of the biggest stars to come out from American Idol. After achieving success, she explored a variety of themes and music styles often singing with her partner in line to her own personal experiences. Because of her distinctiveness and vocal talent, she has received critical acclaim as well as various awards. Most notably she has won three times the Grammy Award three times. The music industry isn't the only thing she does. Her appearances in movies and television programs. She is also the author of the novel for children called River Rose and the Magical Lullaby as well as a member of numerous charitable organisations.
