Alissa White-Gluz

Alissa White-Gluz is the former leader of metalcore band The Agonist, and the current lead singer for Swedish melodic death metal band Arch Enemy. Alissa White-Gluz was born July 31st, 1985. She is a Canadian musician who is most well-known for her vocals in Arch Enemy. Swedish melodic metal band Arch Enemy. Alissa also has been a founding member and lead vocalist of the Canadian Metalcore band The Agonist. She sings with a grunt and a growl. (clean vocals) are part of her unique vocal style. The majority of her work is associated with the genres of metalcore and melodic Death, but has also performed in bands such as Nightwish, Tarja Turunen, Delain as well as Powerwolf. White-Gluz (2004-2014). In 2004 White-Gluz, along with fellow members Danny Marino, Chris Kells and Chris Kells formed The Agonist with Chris Kells and Danny Marino in Montreal, Quebec. She released three albums while with The Agonist, as their primary vocalist.White-Gluz was let go of the Agonist in spring 2014 after being offered the vocalist position for Arch Enemy.
